What I'm Wearing: Blazer & Pants: Boohooman Tailored Collection www.boohooman.com/mens/suits, Shirt: David Beckham, Tie: Calvin Klein, Shoes: Giorgio Brutini "People" Dear readers, People, today let's talk about people. 2 weeks ago I was approached by boohooman to collaborate on a look for their new tailored collection. When I received the pieces in the mail, I knew I wanted to talk about people. The blazer and pants just have this vibe. Its classy, sleek, and well fitted, but wearing it in a city filled with people it stands out from the crowd. Men are selective when they wear suits. Every man wants a suit that makes them feel comfortable. A man uses a suit as his armor throughout the day or whatever event a suit calls for. Boohooman has a wide variety of great pieces (www.boohooman.com/mens/suits) and I am honored to showcase 2 of them. Let's talk about the pieces and how people should stand out and help to inspire and lift up other people along the way. Everyone has their own personal choices and opinions. But people rely on one another to make it through life, just like a suit. A suit is not complete without the perfect pieces to make the blazer and pants shine and stand out in between. In life and in style sometimes you have to mix and match to get the perfect blend, or sometimes the perfect blend comes out naturally to create a sleek combination. The blazer and pants from Boohooman (www.boohooman.com/mens/suits) is the perfect example of pieces blending naturally to create the perfect look. I love the blues that both the blazer and pants bring out. Boohooman created pieces that feel so classic. When I put the blazer on I loved how it fitted so perfectly on my body, along with the pants. These are truly tailored pieces, without having to be tailored in person. When I saw the pieces in person I knew I had to pair it with a button down dress up shirt from David Beckham's H&M collection. The 2 shades of blue on the shirt felt so appropriate to blend and mash up with the blazer to make it stand out more. I paired the shirt with a dark blue skinny tie from Calvin Klein and mixed together it became an awesome combo of different shades of blue. Below the pants I paired it with one of my favorite pair of shoes from Giorgio Brutini. The shoes just tie this whole look together and wraps it up in a bow. Like I said earlier a man uses his suit as his armor whenever he needs it. When we create outfits and combinations and wear it out in the world, we all have that little spark inside to shine and stand out from the crowd. It is in our blood and our dna to be individual people. Boohooman is the perfect brand and company to bring out individuality amongst their awesome variety of pieces. Like the pieces in a suit, each are special and serve their purpose for the combination they are apart of. We are all people, but why should we be like one another when we should be our own person and serve our own special purpose like the pieces in a suit (www.boohooman.com/mens/suits). People, I had a lot of people look at me when I shot this early Wednesday morning. The blazer and pants are such a stand out and they grab your attention. That's exactly what I wanted the pieces to do. I wanted them to catch their eyes and give them something to admire amongst themselves. Since I was a kid, I always believed in standing out from the crowd. Not for attention but for a purpose greater than this life. We all look for people in this life we live, to have and hold close to our hearts. It feels good and right to have family, friends, and loved ones to share a life with. We as people need to uplift each other, instead of trying to undermine and tear down inner souls within. Life is too short to not have a chance to be with people you love. Today I was at a grocery store and I was reminded that not all people are good. Some need more heart than others. By now as my readers, you all know I have a lot of heart. I can be strong and I can vulnerable at the same time. I let my guard down when needed with people I trust, like you. This cashier at the grocery store quick check line tried to undermine and attack my personal character based on the fact that I use a walking cane and I can't see in one eye, when In reality she's the one who can't at all. She tried to make it seem as if I was stealing from the store at the quick check out line, but with her clueless mind she tried to justify herself when the screen said everything I put in the bag was already scanned. She kept trying and trying to prove that I took something from the store, but as I told her repeatedly to look at the screen, she was blinded by her own stubborn judgement. She just had to be right and couldn't accept the fact that she was wrong. People like that need prayers because they don't like to own up to their mistakes. Instead they try to put the little people, the underdogs down. But in the end the underdogs prevail. Having that experience today reminded me that we as people need to be there for each other and not use stubborn judgement to try and light an unnecessary fire. We need to be the good people in a world filled with people like that woman. We need to stand out and be the special pieces like the pieces of a suit. "This Land Is Your Land", this land is my land. This land was made for you and me. We are people who need people, and we are lucky that we need people in this world. So let's make it a better place for us to be the best people we can be for all the people that need an uplifting and a ray of light in their lives. Dear Dom, there's so much to say about people! Let's start from good people like you, people with a strong personality that stand out from the crowd. Maybe because they chose a uniquely tailored suit in shades of blue. But especially because they don that perfectly blended suit with dignity and innate elegance. What can I say about that moron at the grocery store? I don't understand how one person can get away with such behaviour without being insulted publicly. I'm sorry for her, little minded individual. You keep standing out for your classy demeanour and chic style, keep being an inspiration to people. Love u love u! Valeria

My friend, I am so sorry that cashier treated you like this and profiled you! That cashier obviously doesn't know you as a person and it's so sad judgement was passed like this...how horrible! I need to get my fiance' to check out BoohooMAN. He loves tailored pieces and I love Boohoo; it must be pretty amazing!
