What I'm Wearing: Complete Suit: H&M, Shoes: Giorgio Brutini
Hello everyone, Happy New Years Eve! I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas weekend. Can you believe how fast this year went by? So many things happened this year and I'll still be wrapping my head around that on January 1st. New Years Eve is such a special time to celebrate the year we have just completed. Everyone get's dressed up and surrounds themselves with loved ones in hopes of bringing in a beautfiul year to come. I never really go out on New Years Eve, I tend to stay in and stay safe and away from the crazy crowds. I wanted to go out this year and celebrate, but sadly all my friends don't live anywhere close to me. So I once again will be staying in, probally sleeping before the clock strikes 12. Just because I'll be by myself on New Years Eve, does not mean I can't get dressed up, right? This year a lot of the stores didn't have the right kind of suit I wanted to wear. So, I headed to H&M and found a whole suit for $115 dollars, not bad right? It didn't hurt my wallet. Anyways, I chose to add some holiday colors and vibes to this all black suit. Instead of going with a classic white button down dress shirt, I chose to go with green. New Years Eve is still heavily influenced by Christmas, by wearing green I felt like it's a nice little nod to the holiday we celebrated a week earlier. The bowtie is one of my favorite pieces from the suit. It's maroon and It once again has that Christmas vibe that I love. By wearing maroon and green it's a nice little transtion from Christmas to New Years. The overal suit is very comfy. I chose to go with the skinny fit. I don't really like losse fitted suits, I feel like that's more of an office/work kind of suit, and this suit here is more of a celebration/party kind of suit. Does that make sense? Lastly, I am wearing these shiny shoes from Giorgio Brutini. I love GB. I've always been such a fan of their shoes, I wear them religiously. I felt these shoes were a nice little touch to complete the suit. The shoes are shiny and I want to walk into the New Year feeling shiny, like I can shine as bright as the stars, and feel like anything is possible. There's the musical version of Cinderella by Rodgers and Hammerstein with a song called "Impossible". By the end of Cinderella's transformation from the fairy god mother she learns that things really are possible. In the year to come, I believe the things I thought were impossibe will become possible. I mean look at 2016, no one thought Mr. Trump would become our presdient, or that we would loose Princess Leia and her mom Grandma Aggie less that 48 hours apart, or that we would live in a world where gun violence and continuous death is a new normal. Although so much bad has happened in 2016, I believe in the possibility that 2017 will somehow be better. At the end of "Rogue One" we get a scene of our beloved Princess Leia, her last word was hope. So with all that said we must keep the faith and HOPE that this new year will be good for all of us. I thank you all for stopping by and checking out what i have worn this past year, everything that I had to say, and everything in between. What I'm Wearing: Sweater Vest: Us Polo, Shirt: Sonoma, Pants: H&M, Shoes: Apt 9
Hello everyone, Merry Christmas! I'm so sorry I'm 2 days late with this post. I've been having trouble posting this. The quality just wasn't something I could see myself releasing, but for some reason this morning it magically worked. I guess it was just meant for this post to come out one week before Christmas huh? Anyways, I live in California. It's usually sunny here, with the excpetion of the rain that we DO get in the fall and winter. This year I wanted to bring my annual Christmas outfit to the beach! Growing up I was lucky enough to have grown up in The Bay Area and SoCal. Being that my family is originally from Guam, I obiviously get along great with the beach. I started to think about how I wanted to put together a Christmas beach outfit and from there I came up with this. Red and Green are Christmas color staples. This year I wanted to make sure that I tried my best to feature them with a beach scenery. I chose to wear a red US Polo sweater vest. US polo is such a classic American brand. I love this brand and was happy to feature this sweater vest in this outfit. Going onto the green, I found this dress plaid shirt from Sonoma. I love the shades of green it has. I thought it would go perfcetly with the red sweater vest. Next up, I'm wearing green trousers from H&M. I wanted to keep the green theme strong. I love to wear H&M pants. Their pants seem to work for a lot of my outfits, and kowning that the color was green was an added plus for the theme. Lastly, I'm at the beach, I don't want to wear expensive designer shoes and get them dirty. I chose to wear these Apt 9 slip on's. The shoes were on sale and only $25, what a steal! These shoes just worked for this outfit. It blended with the scarf and gave it that extra holiday vibe. I've always wanted a Christmas on the beach, I'm happy that this outfit could fullfill that little goal of mine. What do you guys think about it? I hope I pulled it off! Are you guys near a beach this Christmas? If so I hope you enjoy the sand and sun. If not, I hope you have a beautfiul and blessed Christmas, regardless of where you are spending it. Let me know what you think about this years Christmas outift. I would love to hear what you think in a comment below or on instagram. Thank you guys for stopping by. I'll see you all before New Years Eve. I hope you all have a beautfiul, safe, and blessed Christmas. With all my love, Mr. Dom Baza Photographer: Joanna Wheeler Follow Me
What I'm Wearing: Coat: INC, Sweater & Pants : H&M, Scarf: Forever 21, Boots: Apt 9
Hello everyone, Happy December! I can finally say Happy Holidays to you all. Can you believe it is the last month of the year? I can't believe it has gone by so fast. I'm already feeling all the feels of letting go of all the bad and good moments and keeping them in a place in my heart as we all start fresh on January 1st. I'm so happy Christmas is coming, but i'm so sad Fall is ending. I love that 2 week period where Autumn and Winter meet and its just such a warm and fuzzy feeling that I get inside. I wanted to bring out that feeling that I feel inside and create a look that describes it. To bring those feelings out, I am wearing a sweater and pants combo from H&M. Autumn has the prettiest colors and I wanted to bring that out with this combo here. I felt as if I was wearing the "colors of the wind" (Please don't sue me disney). I love this sweater because it's the color of that warm and fuzzy feeling that I have inisde. I really sound like i'm trying to bring an emotion from "Inisde Out" to life, lol. Anyways to add that Christmas touch to this look, I am wearing a coat from INC. I love this coat so much. I was so lucky to get a really good deal on it. For some reason the store miss priced it and I got a $180.00 coat for $25.00. Not bad huh? This coat is just so perfect for fall and winter. I love wearing it around Christmas time cause of the color. It just gives me that christmas tree vibe, if you know what I mean. To make the seasons of fall and winter come together I am wearing this scarf from Forever 21. I always get asked if this is a handmade scarf, but I found it on clearance for $3.00 a few years back and said why not? I could wear this one day. That one day was today. I love the texture and color of the scarf. It keeps my neck so warm in the San Fran breeze. Obviously I had to wear boots with this look. These are one of my favorite pairs I own from Apt 9. The brown just seems like a natrual color to mesh with this entire look. Woo! That was a lot to type and say within 5 mins. Thank god my brain thinks fast, lol. I hope you guys like this outfit. It's my last autumn outfit of 2016 and it's bittersweet knowing that fall is basiclly over. I'm happy that Christmas time is here, so that will make it easier watching the leaves blow away in the wind. What do you guy's think of this look? Did I do a good job meshing the seasons together? Let me know in a comment on instgram or if you feel like leaving a comment here. I appreicate it. This month you will get 2 see me 2 more times. I'll be back with 2 new posts on December 16th and December 28th! I can't wait for you guys to see the other 2 outfits to complete an amazing year here at mrdombaza.com. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all your love and support. It means so much to me. Be safe in the holiday madness. See you before Christmas.
