What I'm Wearing:
Blazer: Asos, Tie: Harry Potter Collection, Shirt: Calvin Klein, Sweater Vest: Haggar, Pants: Forever 21, Shoes: Perry Ellis Hello Everyone! Happy Friyay! It feels weird having a 2nd post up this month, but here we are! Halloween is in only a few days away and I wanted to do a fun little nod to Harry Potter as my 2016 menswear "costume". I love Harry Potter, specifically the Malfoy family. Ever since Draco Malfoy graced the pages of the first book I've been such a huge fan. I guess that's just the bad boy in me, haha. Recently I became so attached to the character Scorpious Malfoy, Draco's son. When I read the latest Harry Potter book, I related so much to the character. So this year I chose to pay tribute to the Malfoy's and good old Slytherin. I hope you guys like the little Harry Potter nod. Now i don't know what designer made the Harry Potter outfits, but here's my take with a few designers you may know. I looked for a simple way to add a menswear take on the Slytherin look. So I chose to wear a black blazer from ASOS. If you watch the films you'd know what I mean. Obviously I had to wear a grey sweater vest (made by Haggar), and a white button down shirt (CK). The thing about Harry Potter is you can really re create the outfits so easily. The pants are from Forever 21. I know the ones in the film are a little more baggier, but I'm not that big a fan of baggy pants. I chose to make them a little more modern and wear a pair of skinny pants instead. Down below the pants are of course my shoes from Perry Ellis. I love Perry Ellis so much. You may think these shoes are uncomfy, but they are so comfy. For a dress up shoe to feel so good on your feet, that's a muggle miracle. Lastly to give it that Slytherin touch, I ordered a Slytherin tie from the Harry Potter shop to really give it that Slytherin feel. I've been wanting to do a little tiny tribute to Harry Potter for the past year now, but I just now got to it. This look can be worn on a daily basis, or if you are feeling like being a snake you can wear it for Halloween. Either way I hope this gives you some ideas to re create your own favorite characters look for a daily outfit or costume. Anyways, thank you for stopping by and being in Slytherin for a day. Are you in Slytherin? What's your Harry Potter house? Also, What are you dressing up as for Halloween? I would love to know! Thanks for stopping by and reading. Please come back again. Hope you liked this look and post! See you in 2 weeks. With all my love, Mr. Dom Baza Photographer: Joanna Wheeler Follow Me
