CHAPTER 4: The Times They Are A-Changing
Entry #51: The Great Pumpkin Season
Well, we are officially in spooky season! As the years go by I find myself getting more into Halloween. For many years I found myself detached from the holiday. I guess It was because I got sick and just didn't care to dress up when I felt my illness was a real-life horror story. Now that I have grown to accept my illness and all the other health problems that I have, I'm more open to Halloween. Also, the fact that I have nephews is a bonus. I want my boys to be able to experience the magical Halloween seasons I experienced growing up. Truly, Halloween was a dream for me when I was a kid. Sadly, this year Corona has really thrown us for a loop. That is not going to stop us though. We are going to figure out a way to truly make this quarantine Halloween a special one. I want this Halloween to be one that I can look back on with so much fondness. It is tricky, but like all of 2020, we have to be up for the challenge. The last time I celebrated Halloween was in 2018. It was fantastic! I had to skip 2019 due to my move to New York. But, we are all stuck inside right now, and I'm obviously not going anywhere yet. So let's make this Halloween a good one. Regardless of all the devils and monsters running around town causing havoc for our lives and the world around us, we're gonna have a good Spooky season. I'm gonna pull through for myself and the fam here and from afar. This is going to be a memorable holiday season. Putting that out into the world. I'm putting that out into the world.
